Fifty Shades Sequels Are A Go

Universal Pictures and Focus Features are moving ahead with film adaptations of the rest of author E L James Fifty Shades Trilogy, days before the first film is released.

The sexually-explicit story follows 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey (British actor Jamie Dornan) and 22-year-old virgin college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson TV's Ben and Kate and The Social Network"), who develop a relationship steeped in bondage, S&M, domination and submission.

Advanced ticket sales for "Fifty Shades of Grey" are breaking records and the movie is all lined up to score a stellar opening this weekend in cinemas worldwide.

During an advance screening of the film in New York City this past Friday,  director Sam Taylor-Johnson confirmed plans to adapt both "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" for the big screen.

Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are likely under contract to return for the films as well, but their involvement has not been confirmed.
