Katherine Heigl is set to pull double duty on her next cinematic venture.She will star in and produce a film adaptation of the book Escape by Carolyn Jessop says Variety.
Jessop was born into the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints When she was just 18 years old she married Warren Jeffs, 32 years her senior; and at 35, she fled the sect with her eight children.
Jeffs has certainly been in the news of late-making this a very topical project. Heigel has come a long way in a very short time...Since I first noticed her on TV's "Roswell"
She is currently busy working on Robert Luketic's comedy "The Ugly Truth."
