Divine Calling

Universal Pictures has won the bidding war for EA Video Games upcoming "Dante's Inferno" video game franchise reports Variety.

Strike Entertainment's Eric Newman and Marc Abraham will produce with EA. Game creator Jonathan Knight will be closely involved in the development of the film.

Both the game and movie are a journey through the depths of hell, based on Dante Alighieri literary classic Divine Comedy".



Visually the film should look great...Video games are tough to adapt on the big screen though--see the recent Max Payne and my point is made.
