Hilary Swank will star in the thriller "The Resident" for Hammer reports Variety.

Swank is a doctor who moves into a Brooklyn loft.

Becoming suspicious that she's not alone in her new home, she discovers her landlord is a stalker.

I hope this film turns out better than Swank's last spooky thriller-The Reaping. Yikes!!

Music video helmer Antti Jokinen makes his directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with Robert Orr. Erin Cressida Wilson polished.

Swank is quite a catch for Hammer though-as part of their comeback plan.

Filming begins on location next May.
