Krause is the materialistic father of a rich, handsome teen (Alex Pettyfer) who plays a cruel joke on a classmate not knowing she's a witch (Mary-Kate Olsen). Vanessa Hudgens co-stars as the female lead

Daniel Barnz directs and adapts the script from Alex Flinn's young adult novel.

Krause is a talented guy--who's been toiling away in TV for years "Sports Night" and beyond....Granted I'm not the target audience for this pic--but I still am glad for Krause

Shooting is under way in Montreal.
