Hotel Transylvania scribes Dan and Kevin Hageman will write the family comedy that mixes live action and animation. Warners is keeping the plot tightly under wraps, but it's described as an action adventure set in a Lego world.
Various attempts to make a LEGO flick have been around for years but the company turned down most of them being highly protective of its brand.
Dan Lin Roy Lee and Doug Davison will produce the film which has been in development for over a year and the LEGO folks have approved.
Normally-I would complain about making a movie based on LEGO but since Hollywood ran out of original ideas long ago and is adapting every other childhood toy for a film...Why Not?
The sequel could even feature special guest star Lincoln Logs as they both battle to save the planet against an invasion from a Barrel of Monkeys.
Sounds great does it not...?
