Peter Chelsom is set to direct the comedy Last Vegas reports Variety.

The story centers on four semi-retired baby boomers who head to Las Vegas when the last of the Coney Island buddies, a successful lawyer in his 60s, decides to tie the knot.

Let the comparisons made between The Hangover begin folks.

But Chelsom said the Todd Phillips comedy helps his film, in terms of opening the door for another Vegas-set bachelor-party comedy.

What? Sounds like an excuse of total spin in a lame attempt to blunt those comparisons...

The film will begin production early next year.
