Bryan Singer is developing a remake of John Boorman's 1981 fantasy film Excalibur says The Hollywood Reporter.
The project, a retelling of the King Arthur legend, is in early stages with the remake rights only just tied up. indicating it is an entirely different project to the King Arthur/Excalibur project from writer Warren Ellis
Singer has not yet hired a scribe for his version yet...
Singer's involvement as director is still in the talking stage and probably won't be his next pic since he has the action fantasy "Jack the Giant Killer" and the Battlestar Galactica reboot on his plate.
Singer must be making up for lost time by having multiple high profile flicks...Pace yourself Bryan.
