Peter Hedges' latest novel "The Heights" is being turned into a movie says Variety. The story follows a seemingly perfect couple raising their children in an upper class neighborhood who find their lives turned upside down by a wealthy couple moving in next door.
Hedges will adapt the script, direct, and produce the feature.
Hedges directed both "Dan in Real Life" and "Pieces of April"
He also adapted the script for the film version of "What's Eating Gilbert Grape".
