Reynolds Gets RIPD

Even as Ryan Reynolds films Green Lantern and awaits the start of the Deadpool flick...Word is that he's been cast as another comic book hero says Collider.



Neal Moritz revealed that Reynolds will star in "R.I.P.D,"based upon the Dark Horse comic of the same name...

The screenplay was written by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay follows a recently deceased police officer who investigates his own death, all with the help of the Rest in Peace Department and a gunslinger that's been dead for hundreds of years.

Reynolds is expected to start shooting the PG-13 movie, in January 2011 after he finishes the comedy "The Change-Up" alongside Jason Bateman.
