Michael Stuhlbarg has joined the cast of the toubled sequel Men In Black III says THR

Stuhlbarg will play a character named Griffin, a role said to be a "fast-talking Yoda-type alien".

The newest adventure in the series sees  stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones traveling back in time

Josh Brolin portraying a younger version of  Jones’ character, while  Jemaine Clement, Gemma Arterton, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve also star

Jeff Nathanson (Catch Me If You Can) and David Koepp.rewrite the script, specifically working on the story's time-travel component. Etan Cohen wrote the first draft.

Barry Sonnenfeld is currently directing the 3-D film for a May 25, 2012 release.

 Sharlto Copley was previously in talks for the part.
