Can We Find Love (& Laughs) As The World Ends?

 Steve Carell and Kiera Knightley are in negotiations to join the cast of the rom com "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" says The Hollywood Reporter.

In the film Carell plays a man who finds himself alone after his wife leaves him. His high school sweetheart sends him a letter saying she wants to be with him when the world comes to an end. So Carell and his neighbor (Knightley) go on a road trip where the two end up falling in love.

Writer Lorene Scafaria is making her directorial debut with the film.

Steven Rales, Mark Roybal, Steve Golin and Joy Gorman will produce.

The film will begin principal photography in Los Angeles in May.
