Casting Chronicle

Alex Russell, Michael B. Jordan and Ashley Hinshaw have joined the cast of the supernatural thriller Chronicle says  Variety.

The story follows three Portland teens (Dane DeHaan, Jordan, Russell) after they develop powers from exposure to a mysterious substance.

The script was written by Max Landis, son of filmmaker John Landis (The Blues Brothers).

Josh Trank will make his feature directorial debut on the pic for producers John Davis and Adam Schroeder
