Here's the first trailer for August 5th's Rise of the Planet of the Apes

The story focuses on a scientist (James Franco) working on an Alzheimer's cure being tested on apes. The test subject named Caesar evolves rapidly, forcing the scientist to take him home and live with him to protect him from cruel doctors

Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the film  also stars Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Tom Felton, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis

Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa wrote the screenplay and produced with Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark




Not much there of course--Need to see more--What little there is seems well acted...But I'm just not sure that it's gonna be an effective franchise restarter...
