The pic follows a woman (Gerwig) who is dumped just weeks before her wedding by her college sweetheart (Bloom). She embarks on a series of encounters in an attempt to discover her place in the world as a single woman before she turns thirty.
"Breaking Upwards" duo Daryl Wein and Zoe Lister-Jones co-wrote the script with Wein directing and Lister-Jones also starring.
Shooting kicks off in June in New York.
