Sure the Net is all all a buzz about the 88-second teaser trailer
release for J J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" in select theaters this weekend.
But a new rumor has surfaced over at Slashfilm
that claims to have early details on what the storyline could
be for the first stand alone/origin Star Wars feature that "Godzilla" reboot director Gareth Edwards is going to direct.
The source claims that the film is set during the era of the
original 1977 "Star Wars" and is essentially a heist movie with a group
of bounty hunters being hired by the Rebel Alliance to steal something
vital - the plans for the first Death Star.
Their source also says the Millennium Falcon is somehow involved, but
Han Solo is not a character in the film. Also a main character of this
film will be introduced in 'The Force Awakens'. Secondary sources of
theirs suggest their story has "a few strings of truth, but might not be
the whole truth."
