RIP Ferrer And Anderson

Mel Ferrer (1917-2008-pictured), who was said to have disliked acting in films as much as he loved directing them but nevertheless made his career in front of the cameras in movies like Knights of the Round Table ," "Lili" and "War and Peace," died Monday at his ranch near Santa Barbara, California, a family spokesman said. He was 90.

Ferrer was also married at one time to Audrey Hepburn his wife for 14 years.

He was a regular on the night-time TV drama "Falcon Crest" in the 80's and appeared in "Murder, She Wrote" twice.

Also actor Bobby Anderson (1933-2008) who played Little George Bailey in the 1946 classic It's a Wonderful Life died Friday of cancer at his home in Palm Springs, his wife, Victoria, said Saturday.

He was 7 when he appeared in the 1940 Shirley Temple film "Young People"and went on to play roles in such films as 1945's "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn"
