Actor Idris Elba (pictured )told the gang across the pond at IGN UK that he's working hard to get his planned Michael Jordan biopic up and running.

"Michael is a very private guy, but we're working at it slowly. The film that I'm trying to make isn't about the actual basketball, it's about the business" he said while doing a press junket for the upcoming Guy Ritchie action/thriller "RocknRolla" (October 31st).

"Michael Jordan is such a big international brand - how do you make that happen? How do you make that happen as a sports star? The brand has done so well for years."

Elba isn't sure if he will star in the movie but he does intend to direct it.
