Director Spike Lee is making a feature-length documentary about basketball legend Michael Jordan reports Variety.
The film will include extensive unseen footage shot by NBA cameras during the final two years in Jordan's career, the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.
The NBA is financing the doco with Lee's own production company producing.
The duo have previously collaborated on a series of popular Nike TV Ads.
Lee hopes to have Jordan himself along for the film's premiere at next year's Cannes Film Festival.
How awesome will that docu be? I'm surprised it took this long for something like this to happen.
