Vital To The Vine

Entertainment Weekly says that the new film version of Edgar Rice Burroughs classic character Tarzan is "ditching the boy-raised-by-apes origin story for a 1930's-set romp with a hefty helping of romance".

Think something akin to Pirates of the Caribbean In fact Pirates scribe Stuart Beattie is in line to write Tarzan with Stephen Sommers in the big chair

The boy raised by apes thing has been done to death--I'm all for changing it up--Just don't go too far with the romp making it more comedic otherwise the romance might not work.

-As the playoff push begins-The Chicago Bears take on the 4-8 Jacksonville Jaguars in a must win game this afternoon.
