Zac Efron's gal Vanessa Hudgens (who will both sing during Sunday's OSCAR telecast) is being courted to star in a film adaptation of the Viper Comics series "Dead@17" according to Comics on Comics.Comic creator Josh Howard says that Mike Dougherty (Superman Returns) is adapting the screenplay based on his four-issue mini-series.
The storyline follows a 17-year-old girl named Nara Kilday who dies and is resurrected - a saviour who fights evil monsters.
