Andrew Niccol is calling the shots when filming begins this July.
Niccol got Oscar's attention for this work on "The Truman Show" starring Jim Carrey.
His other credits include the Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones pic "The Terminal" as well as 1997's great sci-fi thriller "Gattaca" starring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.
