Summit Entertainment and Catherine Hardwicke seem to have buried the hatchet over their very public Twilight spat...She will take on the fantasy-drama "If I Stay" for the studio reports Variety.
Based on Gayle Forman's book of the same name, follows-a gifted classical musician and her indie rock star boyfriend who's forced to choose between life and death when she's in a car accident with her family.
Earlier this week Hardwicke was being tapped to develop and direct a film adaptation of James Patterson's young-adult fantasy series "Maximum Ride".
