2 More Go 3-D

Ugh! The Green Hornet film has been delayed again from a Christmas to a January 14th 2011 release reports Heat Vision.

The reason is so that the film can undergo the conversion. The extra time will apparently allow the production to "produce all of its visual effects shots in original 3-D" and also five the studio a weekend frame with sufficient screens to release the film wide in 3-D.

The move from the more profitable but competitive Christmas weekend to the quieter Martin Luther King, Jr.holiday weekend however has been seen as a curious one at best. A rumor at Hollywood Elsewhere adds that the studio is apparently "rewriting and reshooting sizable chunks of the movie" to fix some issues with the action scenes. (??!!)

Also announced today is that M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" will be converted into 3-D .

The story sees Aang (Noah Ringer) discover his destiny as the only Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements.

He joins forces with Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone) to restore balance to a world in which the Fire Nation has waged a century of war.

Unlike "Clash of the Titans" though, there will be no delay with the release date of July 2nd 2010 being maintained.
