Entertainment Weekly was lucky enough to nab the first peek at Ryan Reynolds in costume as Green Lantern" !
Photos from the Martin Campbell set recently revealed Reynolds wearing only a grey visual effects temp suit during filming, a suit that would be replaced by a costume to be almost entirely computer-generated according to reports.
The final suit in the film looks to have avoided the matte green torso/black extremities body stocking of the comics instead going for of a midnight green suit with muscle lines made of pulsing green light.
Although I'm a traditionalist at heart--me likey the new G Suit
We can expect a first glimpse of the suit in action at next Saturday's.GL presentation at Comic-Con in San Diego.The comic book pic opens on June 17th 2011 and I can't wait!!!
