Cradle Robber

British actress Carey Mulligan ("An Education," "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps") is reportedly close to signing on for "Cradle Will Fall" says Pajiba.

Jack Olsen's script sees a psychologically disturbed surrogate mother decide to keep both the baby and the husband.

The article says both Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett are being sought to play the mother, Adrien Brody as the father, and both Gary Fleder and Mark Pellington up for director.

Mulligan's involvement depends upon a script rewrite says the source, but Mulligan's reps have denied story to Movieline.

Sounds like the 1992 thriller The Hand That Rocks the Cradle if you ask me
