A live-action film adaptation of Will Eisner's graphic novel "A Contract With God" is in the works says The Hollywood Reporter. Alex Rivera (Sleep Dealer); Tze Chun (Children of Invention); Barry Jenkins, (Medicine for Melancholy); and Sean Baker (Prince of Broadway) will each direct parts of the anthology film which recalls the late Eisner's memories of growing up in a New York City tenement.
It's unclear which filmmaker will take which story.
Darren Dean will produce the project.
