Oscar-winning Patricia Neal (January 20, 1926 – August 8, 2010) died on Sunday at the age of 84, following a battle with lung cancer
Neal, a native of Tennessee, will be remembered for numerous accomplishments on and off the screen. Most notably, she won the Academy Award in 1964 for playing Melvyn Douglas’s housekeeper in the Paul Newman classic, “Hud.”
Neal’s impressive screen credits also include Ulu Grosbard‘s dysfunctional family tale The Subject Was Roses” the original version of “The Day the Earth Stood Still, Elia Kazan‘s political drama A Face in the Crowd ” and Breakfast at Tiffany's
Her most recent leading role was a starring in Robert Altman’s drama, Cookie's Fortune

Actor and Ty-D-Bol pitchman Dan Resin died on July 30th at the age of 79 in Oakland, New Jersey due to complications from Parkinson's disease
Resin began his career on Broadway in the 1950s, with roles in productions such as My Fair Lady and Once Upon a Mattress.
He later stepped in front of the camera and starred in films including Wise Guys, The Sunshine Boys and The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover.
I will always remember him though for his role as Mr. Beeper opposite Chevy Chase and Bill Murray in the comedy classic Caddyshack
