Lone Officers

Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy director  Gore Verbinski and star Johnny Depp will most likely reunite for a reboot of "The Lone Ranger" pic says Deadline.

The story follows a masked Texas Ranger in the American Old West who goes about fighting injustice with the help of his horse Silver and his Native-American sidekick Tonto.

Depp is already set to star as Tonto, but Ranger remains uncast.

The new version has a screenplay by Justin Haythe ("Revolutionary Road") 

Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.

The production for the film hasn't been set as Depp and Verbinski are both very busy..
