In the film, Jackson stars as a former con man who sets out to put his life of crime behind him after serving a two decade-long prison sentence.
Wilkinson will play a crime boss.
David Weaver directs from a script he co-wrote with Elan Mastai.
Andras Hamori, Suzanne Cheriton and Tony Wosk will produce the pic.
Shooting will kick off in Toronto and Rio de Janiero shortly for a release in early 2012.
