McG’s Plans for New Comic Imprint

Wonderland Sound and Vision, the McG-founded production company responsible for hits like The O.C., just set up an imprint for graphic novels and comics, specifically designed for adapting the material into other forms of media.

According to Deadline Hollywood, he’ll adapt an idea from writer Chap Tayler into a supernatural comic called Haunted City, with Taylor helping him write it. At the same time, this will serve as the basis for a screenplay, television pilot, and videogame.

Though it’s certainly ambitious, this particular ambition sounds disastrous. This is all too much for just one property at once. Hopefully McG will think of some creative ways to release this particular material.

What do you think about McG’s plans?
