Tove And Hayden |
According to the New York Post, a judge tossed out the suit brought forth by Christensen and his brother, Tove Christensen., along with their shingle Forest Park Pictures
The suit, filed in December, claims that the brothers alleged that they brought the idea for a concierge doctor show titled Housecall to the Net and met with Alex Pepiol, who at the time was manager of original scripted series programming at the network. They say they also sent him materials including a treatment, character biographies and show ideas.which is the premise for the dramedy, starring Mark Feuerstein.
The case went to court in New York on Tuesday and Manhattan federal Judge Colleen McMahon dismissed the lawsuit, ruling the claims concerned "materials that are not copyrightable, such as ideas".
The Christensens' lawyer, David Marek: "We are disappointed with the ruling and hope to have it reversed on appeal."
...And if that doesn't work Hayden can always use a Jedi Mind Trick to get his way
