Bradley Cooper is set to star opposite Ryan Gosling in the new crime drama The Place Beyond The Pines. says Variety.
The film will see Gosling play a pro motorcycle rider who turns to bank robberies to support his newborn son when he crosses paths with Cooper’s cop.
Blue Valentine writer-director Derek Cianfrance will direct from a script he co-wrote with Ben Coccio.
Sidney Kimmel, Lynette Howell, Alex Orlovsky, and Jamie Patricof will produce. the pic
Production starts July 25 in Schenectady, N.Y.--hiting theaters in 2013
