Favorite Father


Corbin Bernsen has joined the cast of the gambling dramedy "Lay The Favorite" says Variety

Based on Beth Raymer's bestselling memoir, the story charts her rise from lowly Vegas cocktail waitress to one of the top sports gambling bookmakers.

Rebecca Hall has been cast in the lead role.Catherine Zeta-Jones will play the wife of Raymer's mentor, a cantankerous ex–New York bookmaker (Bruce Willis). Justin Timberlake is set to portray a Long Island bookie. Joshua Jackson and Vince Vaughn also star

Bernsen will play Hall's Dad in the movie

D.V. DeVincentis (”High Fidelity,” “Grosse Pointe Blank”) wrote the adapted script from which Stephen Frears directs

Shooting is currently underway.
