Based on author Don Winslow's book the story follows two best friend pot growers (Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch) in Laguna who share a trippy girl named Ophelia (Blake Lively). The duo are so good at their job that an enforcer (Benicio Del Toro) demands they work for his boss, a Mexican drug cartel matriarch Salma Hayek).
Moore will play an expert computer geek who goes from working for a Washington think tank to the marijuana business.
John Travolta and Uma Thurman Demian Bichir and Emile Hirsch also star
Shane Salerno and Winslow wrote the script. Shooting kicks off July 6th.
Winslow is at work on a prequel to the story
