Indusstry screenwriter Kurt Johnstad has been brought in to take a crack at the script for Zack Snyder's big budget reboot "Superman: Man of Steel" according to Moviehole.

David S. Goyer wrote the first screenplay draft based on a story he concocted with Christopher Nolan with bro Jonah Nolan taking a crack at the task as well

Johnstad co-wrote 300 and the upcoming pic The Last Photograph with Snyder

Henry Cavill Amy Adams Kevin Costner Diane Lane Michael Shannon is Zod and Antje Traue is up for Faora Harry Lennix Julia Ormond and Russell Crowe star

Charles Roven, Emma Thomas Deborah Snyder, and Nolan will be producers on the film.

Shooting on the film is presently scheduled to kick off on August 22nd and will run through into April next year for a late 2012 flight into theaters
