TDKR: The Batcave Rises; Bane & Catwoman Meet Fox

Wayne Manor is not the only thimg getting a "fresh coat of paint" in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises ---The Batcave is as well says Wales Online

A few weeks ago Nolan spent two days filming around the Henrhyd Waterfall in the Neath Valley, Brecon Beacons, Wales.  The waterfall is being used as the entrance to the Batcave in the sequel and there are claims it will be a part of the opening sequence of the film.

But the insider also mistakes it for being the "discovery of the Batcave" which we saw in “Batman Begins". The waterfall entrance seen there was part of the Batcave set built at Shepperton Studios along with miniatures. The new Batcave is being built on Sound Stage 30 on Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios lot in California.

Meanwhile shooting is continuing in Los Angeles...

Morgan Freeman was spotted on set as Lucius Fox--his scenes are to involve both Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), while Fox is tries to prevent a Tumbler from being stolen....

Christian Bale Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Pence,Alon Aboutboul and Nestor Carbonell star along with return of the trilogy's ensemble cast such as Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine

Matthew ModineTom Conti 11-year-old actress Joey King Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff Christopher Judge and Burn Gorman take on secondary roles

Nolan calls action on the DKR from a screenplay he wrote with bro Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Nolan and David S. Goyer

The sequel is set to hit theaters on July 20th, 2012.
