Brian Cox, Natascha McElhone, Anne Reid and Philip Jackson have joined the cast of David Scheinmann’s Theatre Of Dreams says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story is a coming-of-age drama about how Manchester United and the legendary manager Matt Busby as he helps an 11-year-old boy (Jack Smith) realize his football dreams. Though Busby is a real person, the story itself is not based on a true incident.
The title refers to the ground where the English soccer team plays.
Carmelo Pennisi and Massimiliano Durante wrote the script for helmer Scheinmann.
Ben Timlett, Justin Peyton and Manuela Noble will produce
Production starts this month in Manchester for release next year.
