The trade informs us that Anne Hathaway has been offered the lead role in the film--but she has not accepted the role, and negotiations have yet to take place yet.
In addition to her work as a witer on TV's 30 Rock Cannon also scripted the upcoming college a capella group-centered flick Pitch Perfect which is set to star Anna Kendrick.
Ho-hum yet another rom-com for Hathaway... Has she not done enough of those to fill two careers? No wonder she hasn't accepted yet.
