Jumanji Remake Moves Ahead

Matt Tolmach will co-produce the reboot of "Jumanji" says Variety.

The original 1995 film is based on author Chris Van Allsburg's book and followed two kids who play an old magic board game and release a man (Robin Williams) as well as many dangers that can be stopped only by finishing the game.

The new film is expected to update the premise for the 21st century.

William Teitler, who produced the original movie will also produce this.
