In this true-life tale Mulligan plays a woman and her boyfriend who kidnap for ransom the town's richest man. But, things go awry.
Pattinson will play Jimmy, the woman's lover but not her boyfriend--and is not involved in the crime.
The script is written by Brad Ingelsby from which James Marsh, who won an Oscar for the docu Man On Wire, will direct.
Alexandra Milchan Steven Rales, Mark Roybal Michael A. Pruss and Todd Field will produce the film.
