John Cusack is developing "Rush", a biopic starring himself as conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh says THR.

Cusack's company New Crime Productions will produce the film.

Betty Thomas ("Private Parts") attached to direct.

The script is nearing completion.

Production is due to start next year.

The liberal 46-year-old Cusack playing the 61-year-old conservative is a surprising choice.Given Cusack's political views and Hollywood's overall distaste for Limbaugh--I womder how "fair and balanced" the movie will be?
