Walker Is New Hitman

Plans are afoot for a cinematic reboot of the Hitman video game series--with Fast and the Furious film series regular Paul Walker is already set to star as bald assassin Agent 47 says Deadline.

Action pic scribes Skip Woods and Michael Finch have written the script, from which commercials director Aleksander Bach will make his big screen debut.

The games were previously translated to film in 2007 starring Timothy Olyphant, Olga Kurylenko and Dougray Scott, The film took in $100 million worldwide despite negative reviews. Woods also wrote that film as well

Over twenty million copies of the five game series have sold since it began back in 2000. The most recent game, "Hitman: Absolution," was released late last year to solid reviews. An HD trilogy re-release of the second through fourth games came out the other week.

Chuck Gordon, Alex Young and Adrian Askarieh will produce the new film.

The new "Hitman" will be shot in Berlin and Singapore in June once Walker finishes the press tour for "Fast & Furious 6" and then shaves his head.
