Blunt Takes Over For Watson In "Voice"

Emily Blunt ("Looper") is set to replace Emma Watson in the lead role in "Your Voice In My Head".

Emma Forrest's script is based on her own memoir and revolves around a young woman (Blunt) who, after the demise of her relationship with a nationally respected journalist, attempts suicide before being saved by a terminally ill psychiatrist (Stanley Tucci).

Speaking to Digital Spy Tucci revealed the news.

"Harry Potter film series" director David Yates reportedly vacated for personal reasons involving a family health situation. Yates and Watson wanted to postpone, but were over ruled. The director’s chair currently remains empty.

Alison Owen will produce the film.

At one point the studio was looking at big name stars to play the psychiatrist including Tom Hanks and George Clooney.

Meantime Watson has also decided NOT to star in the live-action vrrsion of the fairy tale "Cinderella" directed by Kenneth Branagh as well.
