In the film, Christian Bale will play a financial con man forced to work with an ambitious FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) to take down other crims, gangsters and politicians.
Amy Adams will play Bale's mistress, and Jeremy Renner will play the leader of the New Jersey state assembly. Louis CK will play an FBI agent. Jennifer Lawrence will play Bale's wife.
Nivola will play Reggio, the federal prosecutor who tried the case in court.
David O. Russell and Eric Singer are writing the script from which Russell calls action
Megan Ellison, Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Ted Schipper will produce the film.
