Roeg Starts Work "At Sunset'

British director Nicolas Roeg ("Walkabout," "Don't Look Now") is developing the period romance drama "At Sunset" says Screen Daily.

The World War I set story revolves around an affair between a young, Yorkshire-born Army sniper and a late 40s female aristocrat, French landowner behind enemy lines.

One of France's top female actresses is being sought for the lead role.

Dan Weldon wrote the script.

Martin Paul-Hus will produce the film
