"Dumb and Dumber" Sequel Rescued

Last week the suits at Warner Bros passed on the sequel to the 1994 comedy "Dumb and Dumber", and it looked like the film was dead.

 

Now, Universal Pictures and Red Granite Pictures have officially stepped in to get Dumb and Dumber To back on track.

Writer/directors Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly announced the news on Twitter, saying "

Stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are both slated to return and the story finds Harry and Lloyd try to find one of their children
