Originally slated for June 2014, the sequel was delayed due to further work being need on the script, not to mention an already too tight schedule. A poster confirming the new date was spotted this week at a licensing trade show in Las Vegas.
Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow is due to helm--Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) penned the super secret script.
Steven Spielberg, who directed Jurassic Park and its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will executive produce here. Jurassic Park III was brought to the screen by Joe Johnston.
Frank Marshall will produce the dino sequel
