Originally slated to open on November 6th 2015, the phase three film is getting a late summer release and will now hit screens on July 31st 2015. Two weeks after Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman/Batman team-up Man of Steel Sequel flies in.
Even so, Ant Man now has little to no competition with the new date- one of the few quiet frames in what's being called "The Biggest Summer Ever" for movies.
The move also means that the little hero avoids "Bond 24".
