Kate Angelo's script follows a suburban married couple Annie and Jay (Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel) who accidentally lose a sex tape they made to put the spark back in their love life. Annie, a blogger who writes about parenting, desperately wants to get it back.
Lowe will play the part of a high-powered CEO who comes across the tape.
Rob Corddry also stars as a loyal friend who helps them with the search. Jack Black may cameo
Reese Witherspoon Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Rose Byrne or Jennifer Garner were up for the role of Annie.

Nicholas Stoller ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall") was previously attached to direct but had to drop out due to scheduling issues.
